About Us & Our Breeding Goals

My name is Tara Miller along with my fiance Dean Barnes. I have two children Hanna Lynn age 9yrs., Cade Zander age 3yrs. and a step daughter Sierra Nicole age 15yrs. We live in a small farming community were all you see are cows, goats, chickens and sheep.

I have been involved with the english mastiff since 2001. In 2003 I started actively showing in conformation. In 2006 we produced our first litter of puppies.

Our dogs bloodlines are English and to just name a  few:

Greco, Greiner Hall, Mill Creek, Hollesley, Falmorehall, Cedwalla and Bulliff.

We cannot stress enough to please do your research on the breed and the breeder. In our opinion, reputable breeders put the welfare and the improvement of the breed before financal gain. Know what questions to ask the breeder before you start your search. Please be aware of puppymills and backyard breeders that are breeding having no idea nor consern on the health issues in their lineage. Being "vet checked" does not mean being health tested. Even when we do not have any puppies available we always welcome your emails and phone calls!

Our Breeding goals:

We have a very selective breeding program and only breed in an attempt to improve the breed.  We breed judiciously, taking time to research pedigrees, lineage, and health testing. We view our dogs with a critical eye, ever open to conformation faults and what we might need in a mate to minimize those faults and to maximize the good traits.

I would like to take the time to address the most common question we get. "Why are your puppies priced higher than the puppies down the street?"

There are many different reasons and I will address the most important to us. First, we feel every puppy buyer deserves the best quality in type, health and tempermant rather they are wanting a "companion" puppy or a "show" puppy. We sell puppies only to selected approved homes, on a written contract with a two year health guarantee and stay available to the puppy buyer for life.

We never "throw" our dogs together just to "get" puppies. We only breed when we are wanting to keep something to improve our foundation. And as stated previously, alot of time, effort, research and yes money (health testing, reproduction vets, conformation, etc.) goes into every breeding we do! I do hope this helps answer this question. :)

We DO NOT sell our puppies to pet stores, puppy brokers nor puppymills.

Please feel free to contact with any questions about our dogs, upcoming breedings or to just talk "mastiff"!
